Service was very nice. No pressure and very friendly. The maintenance contractors blew dirt all over my face while moving into the unit. They did not just do this once, but actually blew dirt at me a total of three times while moving into the unit. That was totally uncalled for.

Wonderful Staff

Due to issues at work I was not able to get to the office before they were to close; they waited the extra half hour and we very friendly about it. Such nice, down to earth people who really care about you and your storage. They want to make sure you know exactly what and what not to do for entry into the facility. Sheila is just wonderful!

Great Staff and Easy to move into and out of

I compared storage units all around the Gilbert, Mesa and Tempe area and found the Gilbert Road Self Storage to be easiest to deal with. They were kind, considerate of my needs and had just what I needed. They also were very good to the movers when they came to put the things into the unit. In fact they knew them by name and greeted them. This makes moving a lot easier when the facility is kind to you and your movers. They are always there with a smile and a kind word when I pay my rent and they active in the community. Great place to deal with all the way around. They live on the premises so I feel my belongings are always safe. I have had no problem in that area. It is a gated facility which is good for everyone.

Good value - Supportive owners

Examples supporting my experiences with Gilbert Road Self Storage: - My truck wouldn't start after I had moved some furniture in/out of my unit. Although I was able to get it going again on my own, the owners came out help if I needed a jump start or otherwise. - They communicated very clearly about how-to and how-not-to work with the security system. - On another occasion while going through some stuff in my unit, there was a small conflict involving sons/daughters of another family who were trying to cut a lock on another unit their parents leased. That unit was near mine, and I was near the argument. There was no way for the owners to determine if the access by the sons/daughters was authorized or not, and the kids were not polite with the owners. Anyway, the owners called me an hour after I left making sure I was OK, and wanted to share the details of the situation, and why they would not allow the kids to access that unit. I thought this was considerate and proactive.

Convienent, Fast, Good Value

I found Gilbert Road Mini Storage using an online search AND I got a discount for reserving my unit online. I was quite surprised to get a confirmation phone call within hours of reserving the unit. The unit itself was perfect...I was expecting a long, deep unit...hard to get to the things in the back...but the unit had 2 doors and made everything easy to access! Payment could be made online..super easy....Gate code was super easy ..as it is a number you use frequently...the managers are hands on and very friendly. Gate access is very liberal and the place is kept super clean...I would highly recommend Gilbert Road Mini Storage!
