I got the five by five expecting it to be small but it was surprisingly big enough for what we wanted to store. I loved the quick paperwork and the staff was really friendly. Every section of the building was extremely clean. The whole process was really quick, informative, and quite easy to get the hang of.

A staff member brought a cart to my car for me, was offered water and/or coffee in the office when I arrived, I had lost the business card w/code written on it for entrance, and on 2nd visit asked for look-up of code, and was given another business card right away with code and unit #. I would of given this storage place 5 stars. But yesterday I went to put my stuff in the unit and there was a lock on it. I was unable to put my stuff in the unit. Made me very upset.

Price, staff, cleanliness, security are all outstanding. I looked at over a dozen untis in the countu. By far the best one. I have rented previously from other facilities in Camarillo and Ventura. While they were terrible, thewere no where near as good as Trojan.

They worked with my schedule

We are a military family and didn't have an exact date for needing the unit. They work with me online so I didn't have to make the long drive to the unit just to fill out the paperwork. I was able to reserve the unit and then fill out all needed paperwork online and when i get in the area i can finish up what i need to do.

I had a great experience with Trojan Storage of Oxnard. I was paying $230 a month at Hollywood storage Newbury park for a 10x10 outdoor drive up access unit (original price was $190 but they increased prices as of January 2016). Decided to look around for a more affordable unit and found Trojan Storages listed price as $109! Including complimentary truck, dolly, the works! This alone incentivized our switch! Luis at Trojan storage was very helpful, friendly & accommodating making our somewhat unplanned move as comfortable as possible! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent facility

I was very happy to have Trojan Storage store personal property for a little over a year before pulling out to head Louisiana way. I will be looking for a storage facility over the next week and hope to find a Trojan Storage facility near here. I am @ Morse, Louisiana and will be there for a few weeks, maybe longer. I was very satisfied with the Staff's courteousness ad will to be helpful. Security was practically top of the line and everything there was exceptionally clean. Although I gave myself plenty of time to relocate my already stored items...I started shopping on line for storage in my new county. I filled out some questionnaires for several storage places and immediately Louis from the Oxnard location called me back letting me know that he was available for any questions. He also manipulated things to accommodate my needs. How could I resist? Entering the premises is easy for myself but I still feel the grounds are secure. Best part is the hours...6-9 365! Thanks

They told me that they reserved a 5X5 unit for me, but never told me that I needed to pay them ahead of time for the reservation to be valid, so when I arrived they had given away my 5x5 unit and made me pay for a larger unit which I do not need. Very disappointed in their customer service for having overlooked telling me this important information about the reservation fee despite calling me three times to confirm I was coming.

I was looking for a place, didn't expect this

I needed a storage unit and quick, as I was looking for one I happened to find a discount for this one on sparefoot and decided to check it out. As soon as I arrived I was given a tour and taken around to choose the unit I wanted. Great place, great price! Really nice employees, and the place is well guarded. I especially enjoy that my unit is on the second floor (you can rent dollies and use its large elevator if you need to move stuff upstairs) and that you need your code to access different areas. For a month to month lease of the unit and extra month for 2 dollars I really know I made a great deal.

Excellent Price & Great Customer Service

This was the cheapest 10'X10' unit I found... The deal was...$85/mo with 2 months free when you pay for 2 in advance ( or you can just pay for the first month and get one month free instead) plus a free moving truck to use for a day....Compared to most other facilities going for $130-160 -for the same 10X10 unit with zero months free and no truck. I was a little worried about the quality of the facility and staff and security, but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service and cleanliness . The staff member who helped me (Mike??) was very friendly, competent, and accommodating. The only thing I would change is I wish the gates did not lock you and your vehicle inside after the 8pm closing time. I thought we were going to be stuck inside all night, but luckily another customer with 24 hour Paid access opened the gate allowing us to escape! No big deal though ...considering everything else is great.

Clean, well lit, and great managers

I have been a renter with Trojan Storage for 7 months. It was a bit confusing and communication mix-up when Trojan Storage took over America's Self Storage. Things got worked and now everything is all good. Property is clean, well lit, cameras, and employees are nice and friendly. I do recommend renting here.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!! I have been a client of this facility for over 5 years. I have been witness to many changes, and without a doubt, the current management, Trojan by name, and it's employees, to be specific, Wayne Gordon, Manager, by far have been the KINDEST and MOST PERSONAL!!! I had contemplated re-locating my unit to another "larger name" facility because I no longer live in Ventura County but moved to San Diego, that's about 200 miles away, but have decided to keep my unit where Wayne is the man, Trojan is the place!! IF YOU CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU STORE, LOOK NO MORE! I welcome and even challenge anyone who claims any other opinion!

My first visit to Trojan Storage was at the time they were transitioning from the previous owners and it was chaotic to say the least. I overheard several horror about how the property had been run from customers who had seen it all and I was apprehensive to say the least. I was in a bind and had to get the storage and I am so glad I did. Wayne and the entire staff have always been mindful of my needs. They explained everything perfectly and made the whole process very simple. In just a couple of months I have seen an amazing transformation of the property. New security cameras everywhere, door alarms, more interior lighting, and huge security monitors in the office. As a single woman who frequently comes to my storage alone I need to feel safe. Oh I almost forgot to mention what an awesome deal they gave me

Recently I got transferred to Ventura county and was surprised to see that they had another facility in Oxnard and even more surprised when I found out that Wayne the manager from Ontario was now the manager in Oxnard. DO NOT use Trojan Storage

The employees at Oxnard storage on Eastman are unprofessional and very uninformed of their own policies. I was told a 30 day notice was required and I gave that notice on 9/4/2011 by dropping a letter in the mail slot because it was a Holiday. I did not receive a callback and had to call 2 days later to confirm my letter was received. AT NO TIME did the employee bother to tell me that the 30 day notice would put me into the next month and that I would have to pay an entire extra month for the 4 days I was into October. The manager, Wayne, is rude and said he is just going to tell corporate to send me to collections while I am trying to talk with him and explain the situation, total lack of respect. An employee yesterday told me "we dont actually need a 30 day notice" which is contrary to what I read in the agreement. I gave my notice in writing as it requests. A simple 10 second explanation by the employee who answered when I called to make sure my 30 day notice was receive would have saved a lot of frustration on everyones part. I've been using the Eastman Trojan storage location for 3 years and I think the simple courtesy of being helped adequately would have been proper. I found it unusaul a few month back when an employee came running after me chasing me down to ask me if I was driving a 2 door car and "snuck" through the gate especially when I drive a 4 door SUV and had put in my gate code. The whole place is dirty and your unit is not well lit. A light come on but goes off after 90 seconds and you have to walk out and down the hall to get it to come back on. Do NOT rent here, go somewhere else where the staff is properly trained and the manager is competent.
