Activated Alarms Did Not have Security Response on 1/1/23 !
I like the facility with the versatile options and the location. However, I showed up on New Years Day at 8:30am during their access hours to help my mother in her storage and the codes were not working for access due to an activated alarm in the building that was blasting. We went to the front sliding door where the office is located and found that one of the sliding doors was completely off the rail and open for anyone, including intruders. We waited until 9:45am to see if security would respond to the activated alarm and no such luck. It doesn’t make me feel my belongings are very secure there. I have insurance coverage for my storage but this shouldn’t happen even on a national holiday.

Too high for the service
Limited hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm - they will literally lock you in if you are 1 minute over, and threaten you, even though there is someone who lives there on site.
All bathrooms are locked; you have to go to the front office if you are working in your storage and need to go.
They raise your price without warning, claiming "market price" but when the market price goes down they will not lower it. So the longer you stay the more you pay. Wouldn't you think that loyal customers should get a break?

I was having a very hard day filled...
I was having a very hard day filled with anxiety from a last minute move. This was the 3rd place I stopped hoping that I can find a place to store my things within my budget.
It was such a relief to know that I was where I needed to be. The customer service was great, and the employees were very helpful even the ones that weren't behind the counter. I appreciate the way the whole process took about 7 minutes, and it was totally effortless.
I would recommend this place always. I don't know if it's different at other locations, but in San Jose right off of Tully...that place is a real life saver for me.

Unfortunately I just moved in and they let me borrow two carts to move my stuff in. Never did they tell me there is a one cart limit. I went back a couple days later and they said I could only borrow one at a time even though we had two IDs. The person at the desk said they were extremely busy. When I went to grab my cart they were all there and none borrowed. Just don't understand the service.

I've been helping someone with storage lockers here. Seems like a really good place with safe indoor climate controlled units as well as lots of outdoor storage as well. Free usage of rolling carts to get to and from your truck to the unit. They also sell boxes, tape, etc

Secure, high quality storage facility. Everything looks brand new still, and I feel their standards of safety are high. There are sprinklers lining the ceilings, cameras everywhere, and codes required to get in/out of each door and even each use of the elevators.
However, the clients that use the facilities leave their garbage everywhere, and there is dirt smeared on the walls and on lockers. The staff should really pay more attention to upkeep of their place, as it would be much better if kept clean. It's sad that the clients are so careless with their nice facility.

Time management
It is time consuming when you need a cart to move your stuff and you have to walk to the front to register then get keys to the cart before rolling the cart all the way to the back. There should be carts at the back to use as well as the front. When you plan to spend an hour you spend half the time walking around to get carts when you can use less that time if carts were made available at the back with the same process picking the keys at the front desk.

Easy to reserve.
I made a reservation online for a storage unit on a Wednesday for the following Saturday. Someone called me almost immediately to set up a time for me to go in and sign the contract. I made it for the next day, Thursday. I had initially spoke to someone over the phone but it was cheaper if you reserved online. I wasn't told until I had to sign the contract that you are required to add insurance to your rental. They charged $19 for one of their locks. They also charge a $22 administrative fee. The bonus is the $1 first months rent. I wanted to start my contract on Saturday but since I went in on Thursday, that was the day it started and so do the charges. I thought the storage grounds could have been cleaner. There were a lot of leaves around the property and I was told they do sweep. For as much as they charge I think it could be cleaner. I've heard that the storage units get a lot of dust in them.
