Sam and Victoria were absolutely awesome!

Sam and Victoria were very helpful at answering all my questions, and they gave me discount on the first 2 months. I also appreciated that they shared info on the local hangouts and gyms. They also gave restaurant suggestions! Storage unit is super clean and useful. Seems security is very tight.

Not very friendly. Lukewarm at best/

The unit has huge gaps along the floor and could pose a threat for a rodent invasion. I will have to invest in some steel wool to fill in gaps and cracks.

Pay attention to the charges!

Despite the SpareFoot property information, there is indeed a $25 admin fee. I argued their listing info and got a month free to offset it. They will try to upsell rental insurance for max money in their pockets, so inquire about different pricing levels on insurance. Unit was not swept out prior to my renting it.

Snow removal wasn't optimal and the unit was a bit dirty with dried leaves, but overall good customer service and good value.

Not recommend

The people that work there are amazing! The facility leaves a lot to be desired. There are drainage ditches that become filled with icy (even though the staff is there diligently removing snow), The ditches make it so that even my four wheel drive vehicle can get stuck. It’s a structural issue that makes it almost impossible to access the unit in certain conditions even though we pay for tgose days regardless. The staff does the best they can with the facility they are given. The owners are negligent.

It was very easy to reserve a spot and to get all my things to the storage room. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that if you’re looking to use their truck, then you need to reserve it ahead of time. Other than that I loved my experience here.

Friendly staff and decent but somewhat difficult to navigate facility.

The staff was mostly helpful, although took a few minutes before anyone greeted or acknowledged me. Once I had been helped though the staff member I dealt with was very helpful, even making the effort to help me back up my vehicle and trailer into a narrow space. The units were clean and easy to find.

Sloped, icey, odd property

The property is very sloped due to being in a flood zone. The design is great to prevent floods in the units, but terrible to drive and walk through. It's very sloped with lots of small dips and hills. The ice accumulation through the property is crazy. Maintenance was out there trying to combat the ice situation, but it is BAD. Also, my 5x5 is not a true drive up. Rather, I was able to drive to the side of the building and walk down a sloped alley way full of ice. Some of the units have a lip that is literally two feet from the end of the unit to the ground. It doesn't make much sense to me how you would move stuff from a vehicle without having to lift boxes over your head and then hop up into your unit and pull them into your unit. This property is not good for handicap accessibility. Also, when you book your reservation they do not inform you that you have to have insurance on the unit so the reservation amount is not actually the amount that you pay per month. Also, there is an Administration fee that is not mentioned when you sign up for a unit. There was one person working in the office and she was quite overworked she could not possibly answer the phone and deal with the amount of people in the office. She was great and provided great customer service, but it would be nice if she had somebody to assist her! Also, one of the trucks that you could rent had a shattered windshield and was still rented out to somebody. It's illegal to drive with a shattered windshield so I don't know why they would rent the truck out to somebody. Overall my unit is very clean though and it feels just as much bigger than the other 5x5 that I had.

Climate-controlled area very clean

They also have dollies you can use to get your stuff in and out of the building from your truck. They also have a rental truck you can use (cheaper than uhaul), though I didn't use it, so can't comment on the quality. The manager was very friendly.

From start to finish this was the best customer service experience that I have had in Boulder in the 11 years that I have been here. Online reserving was simple, an immediate follow up call occurred and was amazing from start to finish, arriving to sign papers was outstanding customer service and the paperwork was quick and painless. I would highly recommend Guardian self storage to all!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The customer service at this establishment was excellent. I had never used a storage unit prior, and the man who was working was extremely helpful and attentive. Though when he first opened the unit there was quite a bit of dirt and dust on the ground, he immediately grabbed a broom and cleaned it up. Overall, great. Would recommend.

My daughter was finishing up her freshman year at CU Boulder and needed a place to store her stuff for the summer. Being back in NJ trying to do this, proved more challenging than I thought. Every time I reserved a unit online I would get a call from the facility saying they couldn’t hold the unit to call two weeks before; when they’d all be gone in the 4x5 size that I wanted. It wasn’t until I made a reservation and the Longmont location called me back and I told her I really wanted the one on Broadway in Boulder, near her school. So she contacted the manager of the Boulder location and Alberto called me. Alberto was awesome! He took care of everything. He let me rent the unit and do everything electronically. He gave me peace of mind in what was becoming a stressful situation. When I arrived everything was done. I am definitely using them again next year and would highly recommend them.

cheap wood door on my unit, could literally punch a hole through it.

I just moved in, was quoted a cheaper price and told that prices change and a re not reflected on the website. Problem is, I called and had this confirmed beforehand.

I am changing schools and live in a studio apartment. I have a lot of school books and materials. I wanted to enjoy my summer without climbing over bags and boxes.
