Overall good experience renting at Devin

Management staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. The unit I reserved online needed repairs and could not be rented, so they gave. me a larger unit at the same monthly rate. Very fair and helpful. My only issue was that on the day that i moved my stuff to the unit, it had leaves & debris inside. I borrowed a broom and swept it out. I was told that the unit had been cleaned, but I don’t think it had been swept out. Otherwise, as a first time storage unit renter, my experience at Devin was a positive one.

Gets the job done

The service was friendly, quick, and accommodating considering my situation of quickly needing a climate controlled storage unit. The units are somewhat dirty and the building smells like moth balls. I did see a couple of roaches which I did not like. I would not leave anything of super high value here but for general storage at a fair cost, it gets the job done.

Angelo, at this location, is fantastic! My first time using a storage facility so I was nervous about leaving my belongings. First of all the place is very well kept, then Angelo answered all of questions clearly and made the whole process super easy, plus I got a great price on the unit!

Nightmare

Paid up front before getting there . Soon arrival the electric gate was pinned opened . Sign on door said be back at 1:30 . It was about 1Pm . I went in gate found my spot for trailer . I switched some stuff from trailer to truck and disconnected trailer . Went back to office now had a sign be back at 2:30 . I called office number several times left message from parking lot to make sure all was good because I needed to get in gate on Sunday when they were closed . Sunday when I needed to get back in gate code didnt work . I called again left message that code didnt work . I needed the cover for my motorcycle they were calling for rain . Consequently my $1300.00 heated seat and $30,000 motorcycle got wet . Not good at all . Now waiting for seat to dry to see if it still works !! When I went to Devon storage to day found out the gate code THEY gave me STARTED WITH A ZERO AND IT CANT ! THEN WHEN I WENT TODAY MONDAY THE LADY GAVE ME SAME CODE WITH OUT THE. 0 AND IT WOUNT WORK 5 NUMBERS NO GOOD HAD TO BE 6 NUMBERS !! WHAT THE HELL !
