Great online price plus EZ move-in
Except for Google Maps not having the entrance instructions correct, my move-in was simple, fast and convenient. Ample space for multiple vehicles to load/unload in the same area, and the move-instructions were perfect.

Besides the construction going on...
Besides the construction going on currently there, everything is smooth and there are no issues getting in or out. Wish the hours were better but I understand a lot of the storage units in this area close earlier than usual. I had to buy one of their locks and was required insurance on the unit. So a promotional deal still ends up costing 60 bucks. Give 4 stars.

Public Storage returning customer
I had a great experience at Public Storage. It was a quick move in process. My unit is very clean and in a great location. Brooke gave me great customer service and explained everything before I signed my agreement. I'm a returning customer from a different Public Storage location. This location is a big improvement from the much older unit I had last time. I would definitely recommend Public Storage to others and use them again in the future.

It was a Sunday afternoon and I was flying out the next Monday morning. One place I went to was closed on Sunday-actually the security gate was unlocked and wide open but there was no-one in the locked office and the sign said Sunday 'By Appointment Only'! So I went on to Public Storage- open on Sundays until 5 pm. I believe I dealt with the Manager Andres at the Blue Heron BLVD location. He walked me through everything and give me the going rate for the space I needed. Andres is a very professional person and a perfectionist in doing his job. He explained everything to me. Very happy with my big rush last minute need to rent a small space before I flew back to Canada the next day!

My experience with this storage facility rates a 3 at best with room for improvement. The location of this PS facility is personally very convenient for me. However, in my opinion, there are several issues that need to be promptly addressed. 1. The Parking Lot: Arriving after dark recently, I pulled into a very dark entrance. None of the lights on the side of the building near the entrance were working. Multiple light fixtures have been broken out and or need new bulbs. Also, I would suggest a bright light and driveway sign near the entrance from the street. Maybe, even make the entrance more esthetically pleasing with some nice landscape plantings. 2. The Driveways: On multiple trips taking things to put in my unit, I have found screws & nails in the driveways, also one in my tire, which resulted in buying a new tire for my van. I would suggest routine "street-sweeping" the driveways. 3. The Units: On one occasion, which I promptly reported to the management, I witnessed someone living in one of the units near mine. 4. Pests and Rodents: Fortunately, I have never seen any bugs in or near my unit. However, recently, I have found a lot of rodent droppings on things in my unit, which leads me to believe PS' pest control needs to be improved. To be fair, this facility has a multitude of units, but as part of our monthly rent, we as lessers are paying to have the facility and grounds properly maintained. We trust that the things we store in our units are being protected from pests and deserve for all of these issues to be properly and promptly addressed.

Great improvement!
Way better experience then our first one because of the person behind the counter. Much friendlier and accommodating. I am not happy with the not functioning call buttons on the key pads at the entries and exits of both facilities. This is dangerous if I happen to not have my phone with me or my battery is dead. Please take care of it. Thank you.

Negatives - When making a reservation it should include everything in the final price - it doesn't state how much a PS lock is (which youre required to buy) You are required to buy insurnance regardless if you want it or not There has been times that my gate code doesn't work - I go into the office and wait 5 minutes while someone sits on the computer without saying a word Benefits - It's temperature controlled It's generally clean The access hours are flexible (6am-9pm)
