There was a few problems with the move, but your unit manager was helpful.
I was told I would be able to move in early on the morning, only to arrive and find my unit not available to me. I contacted customer service who gave me the number the area manager. After a couple of hours I went to the location of the main office. The manager apologized for the inconvenience and we returned to the unit and was given access. The facility is clean and well maintained and the security is excellent. Despite the early problems, I would highly recommend this company.

Too much stuff
I had too much stuff & was running out of room. The Public Storage facility is close to my condo. Rental was easy.

Poorly Maintained and Non-Existent Customer Service
Public Storage went downhill after Sylvia left and hit rock bottom with the conversion to a virtual location. Your call center is a customer service hell.

This facility is very secure, immaculately clean, reliably climate controlled, and dry (I was worried about my outside wall storage space leaking with all the rain we had this summer). I stored a fine art and print collection, musical instruments and 100s of vinyl LP's for over a year. When I moved out of the space, everything was in the exact perfect condition as when I moved it in. The location is really convenient for City of Decatur residents, and the office staff are super friendly and accommodating.

The customer service at my location was great, but amenities need a little upgrade
The customer service at my location was great- Sylvia helped me find the right size unit and the right price for my needs. The only drawback (again, at my location) is that there are not enough floats to be found to use and of the 3 floats I have seen, two are not in good shape at all. I really feel that this is ridiculous. PS should be making it easy for folks to be able to get their belongings to and from their units, not difficult by making folks run all over the place in hopes of finding a float to use.

The staff is great; getting something major fixed, not so great
The staff is great - I actually have three storage units at the site. The only, but big, issue I have is that one of my units is on a floor where it says it's climate controlled but the AC has been out for almost a month. I'm working with the staff to try to get it fixed now, but there are things in the unit that I will have to replace due to the heat. Face to face service is great. Getting something fixed of major importance, not so great.

This Public Storage facility is very secure, well lit, clean, and air-conditioned. Zero complaints. One Public Storage employee, Sylvia, went out of her way to help me and wanted to make sure that I got the best storage experience. Aside from her very personable nature, she offered to exchange the moisture-removing box while I was away, and looked over my movers with me after they had almost bailed on me. She genuinely cares about Public Storage's clients. Sylvia is very helpful and you won't have to be lucky to work with her. She's there most days.

If you're looking for storage space Public Storage is the best game in town.
This is the third time I have rented from Public Storage. The representatives are always friendly and professional. There are a variety of spaces to fit every need. The facilities are convenient and extremely well kept. Finally, the cost is reasonable.
