Awesome customer service
I reserved a 10x10 unit online. When I arrived to complete my transaction, I met a wonderful man named John. John greeted me and my husband with excitement and ready to serve. When we looked at the unit, it was too small. John worked out a deal that I was able to have more than enough room for a great price. He was very personable and genuine.

Awesome Facility, People, and Pricing
I had a bad experience at another storage company and decided to move my things so through squarefoot I found People Storage of Lithonia. I tell you it was confirmation that as there is bad there is just as good in this world. John took care of me and made not only moving a better experience but he really just brightened my day. The savings was exactly what i needed as well as the kindness.

People Self Storage for the Best Storage Experience
My experience was wonderful. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. It was hot outside & I was aggravated because the pricing was very high everywhere else. They offered me a cool drink & friendly service. I am so pleased that I've been telling my friends about this storage facility.

Just started renting from them so I can't evaluate my experience just yet...the start up wasn't complicated but the day I signed up & needed to move stuff in the elevator to the 2nd floor, where my unit is, was and still is out of order. I was informed it wouldn't be working until almost the middle of the month. That's unacceptable but beyond my control. I feel all 2nd floor customers should be compensated for the inconvenience if they've had to move stuff while the elevator was out of service. Also the dollies they provide for customer use are in horrible shape and should be replaced. I choose Peoples because of their access hours and the location of my unit so there are some positives about them.

Needs improvement
When I first arrived at self storage it was decent. The guys were helpful and prices are decent. The improvement is needed in customer service regarding that they close earlier and open later than they advertised. The place is clean always but, its not professional at all more like a mom and pops experience.

I went ahead and moved into the storage because I had no other option at the time of day. Late in the day and other locations closed with a full personal truck of the person help me move my items, no where else to takke it. The building had rat droppings all over, as well as in the storage I got with ants in it, and floor could have been swept. They did let me use the broom to sweep myself.

I ended up waiting for nearly an hour to be assisted even though I was the first person to come into the office. The clerk who was there kept pushing my needs back to assist others who came in after me stating that "Their stuff won't take that long." He assisted 4 other customers prior to getting my storage unit taken care of. Aside from that, the transaction went fairly well. I love that there is controlled access to the gate entrance, as well as the storage building, and feel secure that my items are safe.

Best value around
For the price its the best around. Could use another employee. Just one guy doing the storage and Uhaul that had a stroke last year so a little time consuming but a nice guy. The place is relatively clean but could use some better dolly;s and cards. But overall the best value in town

Great Customer Service
This facility is great it has awesome prices and nice size units. I am happy with my choice I walked in rented a truck and unit and was out the door in 20 min. I came back late unloaded my stuff using the convenient loading dock dropped the keys for the truck in the drop box and went home. The storage unit is available for me to use 24/7. The Parking lot and whole facility is well lit with motion sensing lights and the place is very secure.
