Unfriendly receptionist

The lady wouldn’t rly speak or offer help during my 5min interaction with her. I would have to ask each time before she would offer help with the next step in the setup process of my new unit. It was as if she was playing a game to see how few words she could speak to me, even though I was very friendly the entire time. Borderline rude, and not polite. Haven’t had an interaction that odd in years.

This Storage Business is very easy when it comes to getting access. What also helps a lot is inside their office is two examples of the sizes of the storage units. This was a lot of help for me and my needs. The other great access is they are located right off 20/26 on KCID Road.

Charged Twice

The facility itself is great but when I called this third-party to help set it up put me in for a 10 x 20 and a 10 x 15 so I have been charged twice and waiting for one of those charges to be put back into my bank. I was told that the 10 x 20 was canceled. Very displeased.

Very easy to rent a unit

Very easy to rent a unit, first month was free also and getting the unit was easy and any time of the day or night. I just wish that the place would let you access your unit 24 hours of the day. Closeing the place down at 8 pm isnt something that i like at all. That seems to be the only downfall.

Customer Service Impeccable

I was running behind schedule and arrived at closing, the door was locked and the front desk opened the door to help me out. I was frantic and stressed because I heeded to have a place to park our cargo trailer. Tamra was so nice and was more than happy to stay a bit longer to get me all set up. Very convenient and GREAT deal!!

We had a cross country move with a great deal of logistics involved. Part of the move was our motor home that my husband had just drove into town. We had thought it would stay with us at our new home, but upon arrival, we realized we needed to find and secure storage for it, but quickly, as there was nowhere for us to even park it around our house. When I called for storage, the customer service was excellent. Very helpful in finding the right space for us. They provided so much relief for us!! It was such a great deal too!! First month free; what a fantastic surprise! We are so very happy!!

Not only were we able to reserve our unit at a great price, we received a call from this facility reminding us of our rental and checking to make sure all of the details were correct. I've never rented a storage unit before so I didn't really know what to expect. Any expectations I had were exceeded by the Caldwell Central Self Storage. Customer service was great- she even showed me to my new unit by taking me there in a golf cart and showing me how to lock up the unit securely. I liked the fact that there was no long-term comittment. The prices were actually cheaper than I expected. Overall, I am more than satisfied with Caldwell Central Self Storage!

My move in day I put in my code and entered the storage yard. The person behind me entered the storage yard before the gate went down. This concerned me because there was no one else in the yard but him and I. I wasn't sure if he was to use the unit or to follow me. He did go to his storage/RV and then left by entering his code. This does concern me that he piggybacked in with my code.

Professionalism with "added value".

After an exhaustive due diligence of the local storage facilities, we determined Central Self Storage in Caldwell, Idaho, to be our best value. I was very impressed with the on site staff: Tyson S. & Tina H. They both went above and beyond in their customer service efforts. I also thought the loaner truck availability exemplified the businesses' desire to simplify the daunting task almost invariably associated with moving & storage scenarios. I also thought the pricing, as part of the business model reflects an awareness of the value of "supply and demand" pricing strategies. When more units were available, rental rates were reduced accordingly to encourage maximized occupancy. If almost all units were rented, obviously, prices increased a little. Understand I am referring to the contractual rate at time of setup, not a fluctuating rate month to month. I also appreciate the first month free option. The customer service switchboard staffing, manifest a consistent quality of professionalism each time I called. It is gratifying to experience a company dedicated to putting the "service" back into customer service. Got to facility and forgot Unit number

We went to the facility several days after we rented our unit. When we arrived we found we had forgotten our unit number. The outdoor kiosk was right there and available to give us that information. It was very clean.
