When I first opened my storage shed I was not sure all of my stuff was going to fit, but everything fit like a glove. Even a little spare room.

10% rate increases every 7 months.

Every 7 months they raise your rates by over 10% each time. Started at $116 for my unit a year ago and now at $141. My unit is currently listed on their website for $119 and I've been paying $128 for the last 6 months. Called manager and was lied to saying it's "industry standard" to do this and that they review every 7 months and adjust according to current market rates. Not true. I have another storage unit elsewhere for almost 2 years and not a single increase. I've had other storage units in the past for many years and I think I got maybe one modest rate increase in my lifetime. Market rates don't rise 20% per year anywhere. STAY AWAY from this place unless you budget in 20% rate increases every 14 months.

It was so easy to move in. The ladies had our reservation ready taking no more than 5 minutes to sign paperwork, have us booked, new lock and keys and provided light conversation for the short time wait. They made it so easy showing us where the storage unit was located exactly. The units are clean and they have regulated temperatures. Overall this is a great place to rent a storage unit.

In the first place a climate controlled, immaculate facility is hard to find and the location is excellent for the surrounding subdivisions. We were very pleased with the service and we feel extremely secure having our belongings at Central Storage. Even if we did not live closely, we would use the facility!!

The manager, Susan, was extremely professional, but yet acted human, and interacted with and we had a great rapport. I like that in a storage whether it be a huge company or a mom and pop location, friendliness is extremely important to me. So your customer service best be outstanding. Since I've been doing customer service for over 28 years, I know great when I see it!!!

Office hours are posted online and at the storage facility. I even called 2 times to make sure an office employee would be there during posted open hours. When I got there more than a half hour prior to their closing time, the closed signed was already up (in direct conflict with the open hours posted on the window next to it). I called the main office and was told to use the kiosk to complete the rental process. Of course, the kiosk didn't work either. However, the manager did call me and provide a temporary code to get into the facility. This is the second time this has happened (at separate Central Self Storage facilities). Corporate needs to keep tabs on these office managers to ensure they're actually in the office during posted business hours rather than posting closed signs and leaving before the end of the work day.

I found your company through Google. It was close to home and had the size we needed with a very competitive price. The entire process was so simple. I used the website for everything until the day of our move-in. When we arrived, there was one person in front of us and we only had a 5 minute wait. The gal behind the desk was very nice and extremely helpful. We were able to buy some covers for a few items and a lock. She walked us to our unit and explained the operating hours and gave us a gate code. I wish all things were this simple. You have a very user-friendly website and I received emails confirming my unit and reminders of my move-in date, etc. We are very pleased so far.
