please have a working garage door to raise up.

At this facility the garage door doesn't raise to open. We couldn't drive into the facility to unload. We had to used the service door that was inconvenient bringing large furniture through it. Please reduce my next months payment for the inconvenient of the unused of the garage door. Much appreciated Thanks

My items stored for fire hazard in my apartment

The size is a good size to store my storage containers that are accumulating in my apartment. I was asked to declutter my apartment for fire hazzsrd by the window. I have my mother’s items that I inherited after she passed away. I will eventually eliminate things not needed or sentimental things.

I hate moving!

I absolutely hate moving and due to a series of unfortunate events have found myself once again needing to move and what's worse unable to find a place right away which caused me to need a storage facility. Uncle Bob's Storage was absolutely the best choice. The customer service is exexcelle,the the facility is very clean and well-organized, price was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend them over and over to family and friends. Needless to say they made a very unpleasant situation very tolerable and easy for me. I appreciate that so much!

I checked into the storage unit a day before my move. The facility was very clean and the manager, Lawrence, was very friendly. The carts that we could use for free came in handy for the movers for lugging a lot of the boxes. I would recommend them especially if you are in a pinch for storage.

Mr Lawrence was very helpful in allowing me to tour the storage and was very knowledgeable of the storage facility and was a HUGE help in getting me in and out and back to work all within 30 minutes

The facility and the employees at the facility were fine. However, the reservation process was deceiving. I had mistakenly reserved a non-temperature controlled unit, so I called to change my reservation. The gentleman I talked to on the phone assured me that he changed the reservation to a temperature controlled unit, and that he reserved a unit for me that was 10' by 5' with a 10' wide door. When I arrived at the facility I was given a unit that with uncontrolled temperature and that only had a 5' wide door. I was told that there may or may not be a unit available that fit the description of the one that I had supposedly reserved over the phone. Then I was told if I wanted the temp. controlled unit I would have to pay a higher rate, while on the phone and on the internet the price was exactly the same. I also notice that you have to pay at least $10 a month for insurance, which is not made very clear during the reservation process. I did end up with a temp. controlled unit for the price I was quoted originally, but I did have to press the matter a little for it to happen.

I made a reservation for Uncle Bob's Storage through Sparefoot.com, the process was quick and everything went well.They told me to be at the place around 5:30 but because my move took much longer, I called to let them know I might be late and guess what?? The manager waited for me!!! He was super friendly , walked me through the storage, showed me how to use the key and he even gave me a discount!! I rarely leave review but this was one of the best service I've ever received. My storage was even bigger than what I expected!! I recommend Uncle Bob's to everyone.

Moving is stressful - but Uncle Bob's made it better.

Overall great experience with Uncle Bob's so far. One less thing we needed to worry about during our move. Very clean facility, fast and easy paperwork, free access to a moving cart upon arrival, felt very secure (locked gate to parking lot, plus door to indoor garage for moving van so we were inside while unloading our things). Video surveillance everywhere. The price was really competitive -- but note that they require insurance if it's not already covered under your home/renter insurance (most don't cover outside storage). $9 minimum if you need it from them -- and they just add that to your monthly bill. Would highly recommend to others. Lawrence and Sarah were super friendly and responsive.

Anyone can have a bad at work, when called I was told I was welcome to come down however the computers were down and there was a problem with a fire alarm going off. The girl working the counter (I believe here name was Sarah H.) stopped what she was doing when I got there and despite all the distractions her attention was totally on me. She walked me to the unit and offered to do the paperwork manually or if I wanted to do it later when the system was back up on the computer. (I chose to wait) she then set me up with a temporary password so I could start moving in immediately. When I was finished moving I went back and completed my paperwork. She made me feel what I needed to accomplish was just as important as what her job entailed. She was very professional and shown a genuine concern. Other facilities I dealt with in the past just what to rush you through the paperwork and get you out of the office. Uncle Bob's was a great choice.
