I went in to one of the storage...
I went in to one of the storage facilities and they didn't have the size I needed available with air conditioning. While I was there the woman at the front desk called the another facility down the road and put on on hold for me. It was a very quick and painless process. I appreciate them going the extra bit of effort to help out and the storage buildings are very secure with their hands off doors.

Janet called reprimanding me for not...
Janet called reprimanding me for not placing my lock on my unit. I made her aware that I was not told to immediately place the lock on the unit. I did a tour, first. Then, purchased the unit and left. I reassured Janet I would come by after work. I rush across town to find their door locked. I proceed to place the lock on the unit. Upon arriving on the 3rd floor, which is 90 degrees Fahrenheit, my unit has a lock on it. I drive back to the office to find the door still locked, while Janet is staring at me from inside with a customer. I waited to see if she was going to get up to to unlock the door. She didn't. I left. I called corporate, asked to file a complaint, stated the incident and was given the district manager, Fatina's number. I left her a voice mail. It was 5:45p.m. Called the property 3 times before 6pm central and Janet did not answer the phone. I no longer want to do business with a company with such practices. I'm appalled and personally insulted. I want a refund and apology.

Great Service. Bad elevator System
Office staff is great and friendly. Location was perfect for me. Unfortunately my unit was indoor and on the 3rd floor, which requires the use of the elevator which means typing in a code EVERY SINGLE TIME I needed to go up the elevator. This turned what could have been a 1 hr move into a 2 hr move. I really wish they would get a better system in place for the elevators. Paying movers by the hr and being slowed down by having to use an elevator, and then using a code each time really makes things frustrating. It would be so much easier if there was like a swiping system or something.

Bait and switch
I am overall happy with Public Storage, but I am a little annoyed with the billing. I have all of my personal belongings in the storage unit, and I have moved out of state until I find a permanent job. This may take me a year or so. After six months, my rate was increased by around $20 a month. I was a little annoyed that price I was offered was not guaranteed for at least a year. I called customer service, and they would not budge. Other than that, I cannot complain. The unit is nice. The people who work there are nice. All in all, I guess I am happy. Would I have gone with someone else if I knew they were going to jack up the rent in six months? Maybe
