Not an ideal storage
When I went there they showed me storage on the second floor for my pricing which was ok until I saw the floor. It has holes and lifts up it was so unsafe and scary to me. The rooms have wood and pipes that take up space so your not getting the sq foot that you pay for.

Great customer service
Great customer service. Staff was very courteous and showed me exactly where my unit was. The entrance into the unit is a little low but once inside it's much higher. Like that the unloading section is inside. Works for when it's raining outside.

Location, location, location!
Venace was friendly and professional; The unit's rate was better than most in the Jamaica area with one month of free rent. Only issue: Their trolleys (platform trucks) are either unmanageable (partially flat) or have loose handles.

There was no ramp for my belongings. There was no space to unload. No parking room.

Covered Loading Area
Showed unit before any paperwork was completed, fast application process, having a reservation helped. Appreciated that fact when I completed the online reservation the facility called to confirm the unit size and that it was available.

A good deal but a bit slow
However, you have to be ready to deal with the traffic jam in the driveway. The road in front is very busy, and the staff don't seem very compelled to do traffic control so checking took awhile. Also double check the papers before you sign and be polite but clear that you will only pay the agreed upon amount that you were quoted by storage mart. Be aware that unless you have renter's insurance you will be charged and extra 10 dollars for "storage insurance" on top of your rental fee. This does not cover damage by vermin...which made me pause for a moment, but it was too late to find another place. Not a bad place, just would be better if traffic control was done outside in the rather small driveway and staff moved a bit faster.

Nate is very helpful there. The storage is clean and easily accessible. They even accommodated me when I was slightly late to move in. The only problem I faced was that this particular location has 2 loading bays only and with snow and water logging on the street, it was quite hard to move in without a lot of effort. The storage place next door has for example about 20 bays :)
