Best Storage Place!!!
Hand down! This is the best storage place in lancaster! Staff is great and friendly. I can't sleep easy at night knowing my car is kept product in a gated storage facility. The staff answered all my questions I had, the prices are unbeatable!

Helpful friendly service
I believe his name was David. He made the whole transition easy. He gave me the option to do everything over the phone due to covid. We completed what we needed to on the phone and everything was ready when I arrived a few minutes later. Everything was so easy and no stress at all!

The units at self storage are very efficient very nice very clean when I first arrived I noticed that there is a full gated fence around the property which made me feel better. I came from another state An was kinda worried but the worries end when I arrived the grounds are well kept no trash cameras And plenty of room to store your things cars SUVs boats ... thanks a lot self storage I appreciate you....

Great experience at Security Self Storage
I recently moved to Lancaster from another town in PA and needed a storage unit on short notice. After doing some research online I found Security Self Storage. I spoke to someone in the office and although they had limited availability, they did have 2 small units left. The woman in the office placed a hold on one of the units until I could stop by later that day to look at it. It was exactly what I needed. It only too a few minutes to fill out the paperwork and the unit was mine! Later that day my wife and I moved in our stuff and it fit perfectly. Nice and easy.

Poor communication and being billed 2 mo. after moving out, officially.
Spoke to Holly initially about terminating our contract a few days into October. Confirmed that we were moving out and she explained they do not prorate. Understood that, as it was my error for not planning ahead. Made her aware we were moving out that weekend. Removed lock as advised and took the time to clean out space better than when we moved in. . We got billed the next month. Made the call on the 1st of Nov. around 9:15 am and spoke to the owner/gentleman regarding this matter. Holly was away until that next Tuesday per him. I did call the next day, b/c I did not hear him say that initially. I confirmed with him that we NO LONGER have a need for them and that we will NOT be billed again. He even read back what he documented for Holly for her return. Here we are Dec 3rd and they are still taking our money....I am hoping they are honest and do the right thing.

Try to make monthly payment a few weeks ago and when I called them up they said that I was not in the system and that they could not help me, I asked if my car was still there and they told me again you're not in the system so we can't help you, finally I was able to locate the receipt and contract, i give them the unit number and they found me somewhere, but they told me that someone had removed me from the system and that they was not sure who or why, everything did seem to get resolved and my vehicle was still there, but something like that should not happen.

People at the unit location were patient and helpful

We were not correctly informed of details.
The customer service person I initially spoke with was very nice. However he did not inform us that we needed to move in on the first and he knew we were only planning to pay for one month. When we arrived we were told you have to pay for extra two weeks if we want to move out on the 15th.

Great spot just need outside lights
The place is great but the only thing that would have been nice would have been lights on the outside. Since there are no outlets in the units I had to use my car lights so that everyone could see what they were doing. If there were outside lights that would have been on that would have been easier.

Storage units are not true to marketed size and the openings are rather narrow. Overall I feel as though I was taken advantage of when I booked a unit with Security Self Storage. By saving a couple inches on width and depth in your storage units you undermine your businesses' integrity and repeat business. This storage facility was designed by a cheater. Otherwise the man who owns the business has a great sense of humor.

Great place to rent
From beginning and now towards the end, everyone from management to front desk has been absolutely wonderful. Had a huge problem explain to management my situation and they worked with me. Wish there where more places like this and the price was great, Where I' m staying right now for a 5 x 10 starts at 75.00 big difference.

I moved things in and the latch of my unit appears to be a little rusty.The Attendent of the facility sprayed it with D W 40.I was then able to move the latch back and forth.All latches on units should be replaced when rust is noticed. thanks Dan

Awful facility, management very rude!!
Upon coming across this storage facility I asked if they had any problems with rodents and they said NO. After my belongings where in the storage unit for 2 months, we decided to get a few items and there was mice droppings throughout some of our boxes and one bit threw one of my brand new wrapped matresses. I myself went through every box to make sure there wasn't anything edible for any animals. After talking to the manager he said we should take our belongings elsewhere. Very unprofessional.

The place is somewhat difficult to reach and quite difficult after leaving--traffic is so heavy and entering from a turn is a little unsafe-- so that's a negative. The bolt on the door is rusty, making a one-person visit frustrating. The space is quite adequate but if the cost goes up the value will go down. The security for getting in and out of the entire facility seems adequate. The personnel have been very responsive.
