terrible security/ awesome unit and pricing
I got to use my storage unit for the first time recently. Price and unit is awesome! However, I absolutely hate that it's pitch black at night. Loading up at night alone as a female is already a bit unsettling.... put me in the dark and anyone could creep up on me. The exit keypad is located in a weird spot. That's me picking. I do like the unit though.

I WENT ON LINE,LOOKED UP PUBLIC STORAGE,SEE RATES AND SIZES OF STORAGE UNIT,GOT AN ONLINE DISCOUNT FOR RESERVING ON LINE,WENT TO FACILITY TO LOOK IT OVER FOR SECURITY AND CLEANLINESS WAS VERY PLEASED.PROCEEDED TO SEE MANAGER IN OFFICE,NICOLE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL AND I PROCEEDED TO RENT THE STORAGE SPACE I RESERVED AT A REDUCED RATE.

I must rate my experience 5 stars.. From the first time I walked in the office and ever time after, Jodi has been amazing. Great smile, very pleasant and very helpful with any question I had. She explains everything in detail and is happy to do so. If I owned my own business, I would absolutely try and hire her away. But that said, I'm very happy that I chose this location for storage as I know that anytime I go there, I'll be greeted and treated very well. I recommend this location for everyone..

New to storage
I was hesitant about using store but I have to for the time being. With so many storage choices, I was unsure of which company to pick. Public storage made the process very simple. I reserved online, they recommend a size for my belongings and showed me a few options. I'm very satisfied with public storage and their great costumer service. Although I am still a new costumer, I believe this will work out well for my needs.

Happy to have storage, but worried about security.
I am thrilled to have the storage that I need right now at a better rate, but there have been a lot of times where the gates have been open due to electrical failure from lightening strikes or other reasons. There aren't any lightening rods where they need to be by the office to prevent this from happening again. There were several robberies while the gates were open, and this of course is unfortunate for the people involved. I was lucky not to have been one of them, but I could easily have been. I am curious as to what is being done to solve this and make people feel better about being secure while using Public Storage. Also I did not see any security cameras, this does not mean they aren't somewhere, but I didn't see any so that they could capture images of security breaches being taken advantage of. Please let us know how this will be remedied. Thanks so much.
