. misleading and infuriating and overpriced.
Advertised as "5x5," the storage space was in fact only 3x4 and only 4 feet high. That's a big difference. It was misleading and infuriating and overpriced.
However, The woman at the desk, Kim, was professional and helpful. I think she was embarrassed when she saw the actual size of the space. I will be moving my things out as soon as I can.

Solid Place; Questionable Neighborhood
The unit was clean, big, as advertised. Pretty secure location. Only requested improvements:
-- On site dollies were small
-- I was forced to buy a key fob to gain entry, but the signage on site said that key fobs were optional and that you could type in a code instead. :/

Excellent service and very professional
I was very impressed with the services but certain policies could be better. For example , there are times finances get sidetracked due to illness or job situations that are out of the person's control. There should be a way to deal with it by having a payment plan to help bring them back to current and only to those who do not purposely default on their obligations on a regular basis. Just in those circumstances. Also, I want to give all stars to the lady working on the 24th of October. She was very helpful and she explain the process and made the move-in much smoothly. She deserves a raise.

Best storage unit I ever rented from

Great space, very professional and clean
I have been very impressed with Safeguard Self Storage on Frankford Ave. The staff is very professional and really care about providing a great facility. It is clear they spend a lot of time making sure it is clean and up to date. The security is outstanding and for being in the city, it is a great price. I was very surprised a facility of this quality exists north of Lehigh.

Great Facility, Ok Customer service
The facility is great always clean. They have a lack of usable carts to move your things to the floor but I got around that.... just took multiple elevator rides. The service is iffy. You have to catch the people in the office on a good day or when they are not preoccupied with work. It wasn't always like this but is now. Most of the time they have a on the premises sign in the door and though it has a time or limit you might have to add an extra ten minutes on to that. Overall the prices are good .

I had some issues with the staff not wanting to help because he was on lunch break and the only person that could help. I was given a window to move-in that included his lunch break, but was never informed of it. We were paying our movers for every minute over the agreed-upon two hour move, so time was of the essence. Luckily, we were able to get the move done in time, but it was unnecessarily stressful.

Great facility, but warning: $22 "initializing" fee
The place is great. Secure, clean, & friendly customer service. The $22 fee to open a unit did catch us a bit off guard, but since it is only $1 for the first months rent, I suppose it evens out.

Great customer service
We arrived at Safeguard tired from a long move- the manager was courteous, timely, and helped us find a larger unit than we had originally reserved when we realized we needed more space. The storage was clean and unloading was a breeze. Thank you!
