They do not inform you of problems!
We visited our climate controlled storage unit to find it was way hotter than the non climate controlled units. When we inquired at the office we were told the A/C was broken. We asked why the tenants were not informed, and we were told management felt it was unnecessary. At the time we visited the A/C had been broken for 1 and ½ months and the parts were on back order with no estimated repair date! Its now been 2 months and not only did they not inform the tenants but they continued to collect the steep additional premium for climate control from all of the tenants! This is pure fraud! We brought it up many times with the building manager who was supposed to talk to the regional manager to get us a credit, but it has been a month now with no credit and no response regarding the credit despite numerous inquires and emails! This is seriously unprofessional and disturbing!

I have a unit at the SpringCypress ...
I have a unit at the SpringCypress location, I used to have a unit at the Magnolia location. The SpringCypress location is an upgrade compared to Magnolia. I like the fact that the units are all indoor with air condition, the units have new specialized locks with all round security. Overall all the Public Storage locations should be built like the SpringCypress location.

First time using public storage. Wonderful experience. Vivian made it a very easy experience. Right from stepping in she is very welcoming and she really takes cares of you and knows how to give customer service. My whole public storage experience was simple with her taking care of me. I also liked the promotion for the first month. I wish i could give 10 stars. Would recommended this location to others. It is also right off the highway.

I was very pleased with the service at this location. I wanted to move from 1 storage unit to a climate-controlled unit. Kiersten was very helpful and able to answer all my questions regarding the billing and pro-rated amounts for the month. Once I emptied out the old unit, she was quick to help me close it out and confirm that everything was taken care of. I'll certainly continue using this location.

This facility is very clean, with high security and a Manager named Kierstin that is Customer service oriented! Kierstin helped me on more than one occasion as we moved from our home and awaited completion of our new one. She is quick to walk you around and will go the extra mile to ensure your storage experience is a good one. One day late in the afternoon I was at my nicely air conditioned locker in August when she came strolling through for a security check. This locker was the farthest from the office and she begins there and walks her way back through every one! You will not be unhappy with your decision to rent from her.

First impression was not as accurate as we thought.
The day we signed our contract with the public storage in Magnolia. The lady was very helpful and friendly. However when we began moving our stuff little did we know that she had shut down the gate not allowing us in. It was raining that day and we understand safety precautions but no one informed us that the gate would not be open on this day. So we pack everything out of our house into our u-haul with the stuff we need most at the front of the truck. We get to the storage unit to find the note on the keypad. Without any other option because our kids stuff was at the front of the truck we knock on the lady's door. She was very rude about telling us no she would not open the door. She wouldn't even give us a reason as to why the gate was shut off. Finally after several minutes of pleading with her she very rudely stated that we had 20 minutes to unload almost a full 15' u-haul or she would lock the gate and we will be stuck inside. Needless to say we got it done fast enough but we feel that from now on if things like this are going to happen an email, text, or phone call should take place letting us know.

Perfect for our needs
We found ourselves in a situation where we needed storage for all of our belongings for at least a month before our house would be ready. When I called the lady was very helpful. She was able to reserve a large unit for us to go into the next day. While we were unloading, we realized that everything was not going to fit. She promptly got on her computer system and found a unit that had been vacated that day. We were able to get that one as well with no hassle. We were able to move in enough of our belongings to let the 2nd unit go by the end of the month. We still have a few items in the original unit and it has been great being able to go over to the unit as i make room or need an item. I would highly recommend your friendly staff and wonderful facility.

Good communication is the key.
If renting storage space in the middle of the month with rates are prorated, the payment requirements need to be explained in a very simple manor so all parties understand the payment plan. We drove by the facility at night and it seemed very dark. Dumpster was full and over flowing.
