Space is clean and staff was nice
Space is clean and staff was nice. Two things that got me a bit was the mandatory insurance that i was told i had to get. Hidden cost was not welcome and should be listed better that this is a req. I have my property insured on my own and paying extra thru public storage is frustrating 2, cost was a bit more then expected. Esp for the size of the unit... i understand that the area is pricey but igs several miles from old town alexandria and more from arlington and wdc. Overall the space is fine, just more then i was wanting to pay, but was stuck and needed space asap, to you got me.

Gabriela is very knowledgable and professional. she is very helpful when it comes to choosing which unit size is best for you. she is well organized and make sure the customer is well aware about public storage policies. I went in to make a payment and she informed me that I did not have to come in to make a payment I could pay online.

Adequate, but not exceptional
The people who work here are great, but the facilities are far from the best I have been to. My particular rent has a ramp and a hand rail that covers half the door, which means I can't park the cart right in front of the door. Most places I have been to do not require you to open a door to get into the hallway, and this one does, making it extremely difficult to maneuver large items. If I load the cart outside by my truck, it is difficult getting the entry way is not flush with the ground. A small ramp or mat would make this process much easier. I am a single females, so I'm sure it bothers me more than people who are able to easily pick up heavy carts to get them over bump. Unfortunately, I'm not able to do so. And the whole place smells bad musty.

Public Storage is convenient, affordable, and the staff is very helpful.
I took advantage of a Memorial Day special and rented my unit at a discount. I've rented from others in the past, but am more than happy with my storage unit and the staff at Public Storage. They communicated with me in a very timely fashion, were knowledgeable, and very courteous when I rented my unit. The facility is nearby, it's very secure, and easy for me to access my property. I would definitely rent from Public Storage in the future without hesitation.
