No security- don’t be misled

Unfortunately our experience has been far from ideal . Our trailer was broken into and all our supplies stolen, we contacted staff and police immediately, staff were unwilling to cooperate with us or police ( continual response was “they were waiting to preview footage) we waited patiently for 2 weeks before being notified that there was no video surveillance on property, they refused to give us an incident report or anything in writing acknowledging this major theft had occurred , we were told there was nothing they could do . The manger refused to share contact detail of corporate management saying she was district manger and nothing could be done . I requested that current customers be notified that a major theft had occurred and that the property does NOT have active surveillance as advertised. She commented the contact states that information cant be shared just as the contract states they are not responsible for personal property. ( yet when signing a contract I was told the property is extremely secure with 24 video surveillance available for our security) The guy that stole our property was selling it all the next day on marketplace and apparently had a storage unit in the same facility. So angry that we lost so much valuable property , our insurance failed to pay due to “no surveillance or incident report available from facility”

Cost increased from $61 to $85...over 25%. Very disappointing!

Facilities are nice, well-maintained and easy to access but the unexpected cost increase leaves us very uneasy as to whether or not prices will change again. We will continue to be customers for now.

The overall location is very clean and my wife feels safe if she needs to pick up an item on her own. The front desk folks are always beyond friendly and eager to help with questions. The price is better than those in the surrounding area. You can’t ask for better.

INFESTATION AND TURNING OFF CLIMATE CONTROL AFTER HOURS

One, I came down before to get ready to get rid of one of my units, first by moving my daughter's mattress from my climate controls. My daughter was getting rid of her outside unit. When she went inside she said she doesn't want the rest of her stuff cuz there were roaches all in her stuff. I told her she must dump. I came down to start moving my stuff the bay was infested with roaches where they sprayed and left all the dead roaches in the hallways. Video I took I seen where they were only using Ortho defense a bottle. I came back opened my unit and seen all these dead roaches, closed it back, and couldn't move the unit into the spaces I have. We pay, but they don't keep up their contracts with pest control Turning them in soon. I can't move and get rid of the unit to move my stuff cuz of the hazmat clean-up that has to take place with help. Don't honor the grandfather clause I was told.

$101 per month is kind of high for a small parking spot, and rate has gone up $29 or 40% in last couple of years. But I like the facility.

The on site manager is awesome corporate however is another issue. I received last month an increase in my bill by $70. That is ridiculous and should be illegal to increase that much in one month. The company should be ashamed of itself.
