I had a good experience renting this storage. This is the first time I rent one and their procedure was simple. Their location is centrally located, and the administrator was knowledgeable and curteous. Am a little nervous about automatic payment through my bank, but administrator assured me there would be no problem. Got me right in to a unit.

This is exactly what I was looking for!! Having rented at another place in the past, extreme temperature changes can really messed up my stuff... While the pricing isn't perfect, there's still a lot to like about "Newcastle Heated Storage"... 1-Like metal walls and concrete floors so there are no creepy crawlers 2-Multiple loading docks and wide hallways 3-They allow after hours usage until 10pm, which is convenient 4-Ultra clean facilities 5-Air-conditioned and heated!! 6-24/7 security and video monitoring While I haven't been here long, I can say without question, THIS is the best storage facility I've ever used! If you are looking for a good facility to store your stuff, "Newcastle Heated Storage" is worth checking out.

Great Value, Clean Indoor Facility, Super Friendly Staff

I simply chose this facility due to the proximity to my home/work, where most storage facility costs a lot of money, but this was the cheapest one. So it's a huge bonus that on top of the price, this facility is very clean and well maintained (it's all indoors as well-- the car/RV/trailer storage is outside uncovered, though (and currently full) with good security system and 24/7 camera recording/monitoring system. Also, Tracy and the staff there are super friendly, very thorough and upfront about fees, policies, etc. The place closes at 10pm every night and it will lock you in if you don't leave by exactly 10pm. It's not a 24/7 access, so that might matter to some of you. Otherwise, for this price, location, and indoor storage that is clean and secure; it's hard to find a better value.

I setup my rental online and showed up at the facility one hour later when everything was quickly processed so I could move my stuff right in. The office and entire facility, inside and out, is very clean and secure. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing to store personal or business items. They falsely advertised the size of the unit, then would not give me a partial refund back. They also rented out the truck when telling me originally I could rent it without mentioning you need to pay $16 to hold it non refundable, when it says the truck is free. There are hidden fees. Customer service was not great, the lady was really rude over the phone.

I recently had a very unexpected turn of events in my life, not for the good. I had to pack up my entire house and store it. I checked on many places and found Newcastle storage the best price. Went in and the office staff is so friendly and they actually remembered me a month and half later. The security is great and the place looks immaculate inside. Staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Very positive experience. About free move-in truck - check with office staff before arriving at facility. They have cookies at the front desk! Seriously the woman at the front desk was very helpful, quick and courteous. What do I want in a storage facility? 1. Clean (as in does not smell like grandma's basement) 2. Ability to access (6 A - 10P) is amazing - unlike PiSS oops PS 3. Secure 4. Don't rip you off with a ton of little nick pick add on fees 5. The facilities themselves seem fine. Security appears excellent and the storage unit was clean and as advertised. We had a moving in issue that was poorly dealt with by the manager, however. On the night we were to move in, we were unable to open the security gate with the code we were given by the manager. Because the office was closed, and there was no emergency number provided, we had to park our truck on the street and make arrangements to come back the next day to move our belongings into the storage facility. The facility is 30 minutes from our home and we had to take time out of our busy moving day to drive back to the facility. We were not offered an apology or any compensation for the inconvenience. Instead we were told by the manager that she "had no idea what happened" and that because she allowed us to come back late in the afternoon the next day and didn't charge us a second day for the truck, that this should be satisfactory compensation for our trouble. This experience definitely left us with a bad first impression, and we can't say we'd recommend them to anyone else. Other than that, we assume our belongings are safe and secure.

Clean Facility, nice employees

Definitely check the unit before you pay. I am glad I did, unit had a large vertical, rectangular metal structure, which took up a lot of unit space. Staff is very friendly and personable. My only real complaint is that I had some communication glitches, This was a concern since I was double billed and was now living in Massachusetts. I had called them, sent an email and finally called Sparefoot, all to no initial avail. Finally, I got through and everything was sorted out.

After visiting a few storage facilities I found that this location offered pretty competitive prices. The facility is less than 1 year old I believe, and most of the units haven't been occupied before. Very clean. One caveat: make sure to double-check the size of the unit shown to you. At this facility I was shown a unit that was significantly smaller than what was advertised. Management was nice about it (and even provided their own measuring tape so I could verify), but still I could have been misled if I hadn't double-checked.

Brand new building: nicely designed with level floors, wide halls and no "extra doors" to deal with.

I just rented a unit here after viewing 2 other facilities. This place is immaculate! Also nice: one 5 digit code gets you through gate, building and elevator. (some places use multiple codes & some codes are 8 digits long!) Security inside was better than most other places. They loan you a nice lock for free, and don't hit you up for additional fees that are not disclosed by the website or sales force. The only improvement I would make to the building would be the addition of an overhang that is large enough to cover a vehicle in the unloading areas because it rains a lot here.

so far I've loved working with the staff, I got better pricing once I got there. They are giving me a truck for moving with a 15 reserve fee and 200 refundable deposit. A better deal than uhaul. They have been great to work with and I would abosolutely recomend them. The place is clean, easy access. Moving sucks but It makes it nicer to work with nice people who understand how hard it all is.
